Music and Memories of Janos Starker

Presented by Mark Kosower, Principal Cellist of The Cleveland Orchestra

Judson Park Auditorium, 2181 Ambleside Drive

Mr. Kosower has created a fascinating and inspiring presentation of photos and videos chronicling his experiences from childhood to seasoned professional.  The program will begin with a performance of  the Sonata for Solo Cello, Op 8 by Zoltan Kodaly*, followed by the 40-minute audio visual presentation.  [* The composer himself declared Starker to be the definitive interpreter of this piece.]

 NOTE! Tickets: will go on sale on November 1, 2025. Please check back then.

CRUCIAL VENUE LOCATION INFORMATION  While 2181 Ambleside Drive is the “official” address of Judson Park, the Auditorium is best reached through the entry located on Chestnut Hills Drive.  Parking options include limited spaces on the Judson Park circle drive and an abundance of street parking along Chestnut Hills Drive.
